We are asked this question many times, the simple answer is we don’t know and we certainly can’t guarantee an amount that would be unlawful! Please just take a look at the many revenue streams possible and you your selves should be able to work out an approximate amount of profit your charity could make by running a race night.
Do we need a licence?
As long as you organise they way we suggest a licence is not required in the UK to operate a race night to raise charitable funds.
Do you cover my area?
We are based in the North West near Manchester but cover all the UK. Travel costs my be added to our usual pricing but mostly we are still similar prices to other operators in your area including our travel costs if any.
What do you provide on the night?
Well we start before the actual night, upon booking we supply posters and information packs to our clients so they can advertise and sell ownership of horses etc. But on the night we provide all AV equipment a large screen and all tote betting tickets and paperwork, yes we are self contained.
Do you carry insurance?
As a professional events company we know its not just important but a legal requirement to carry a minimum of public liability and employers liability insurance when operating an activity at another's property or even your own. We carry such insurance and this is available for inspection by email copies upon request by or clients or their venue operators.
